Sauteed Mushrooms
It is so easy to make mushrooms that can be served with steak, roast meat, rice or even mixed into pasta. My husband loves this in Spaghetti Carbonara as well. You can also add some Spinach or Kale to make it even yummier.
Here is how to do it!
Serves 2
Ingredients
300g Mushroom ( Any type of mushroom is great)
2 Knobs of Butter
1 tbsp chopped Garlic (or Garlic Paste)
1 tsp Mixed Dried Italian Herbs
Salt and Pepper to taste
Method
1. Wash and drain Mushrooms. Cut up into desired pieces. I usually buy the sliced button mushrooms which makes this even easier.
2. Add butter and garlic into a pan and heat on medium low until butter is melted.
3. Add the mushrooms and stir well to combine with butter and garlic mixture.
4. Add pepper and leave it uncovered to caramalise for several minutes. The time can vary. When most of the mushroom edges look brown it should be perfect. At this point you definitely get a beautiful aroma.
5. Add salt and mix well. Fry stirring for another 1-2 minutes. Then it should be perfectly cooked.
6. Serve with anything you like.
